The principle of education at UITS is that up to the first degree level knowledge imparted must have the potential for immediate application. This means (a) the content is modular and (b) teaching must accompany either project or practice, and in some cases also research. The second feature is that the program is a “staircase” providing recognition at every year or step within the same vertical scheme. It also allows lateral entry or re-entry to complete the undergraduate degree. It allows a student to quit school after successfully completing a number of modules at different stages for any reason, including lack of funds or for employment. Such “drop-outs” shall be employable on the basis of acquired knowledge and skills. 5. Does UITS have credit transfer facilities to other foreign and local universities or from any university to UITS? In which Universities, do you have collaboration? Yes, we do. What is the total cost of any particular program? The cost of education depends on the program. Our fee structure is comparable to other universities of the same educational quality. We at UITS are highly committed to providing quality education. By quality education, we mean development or enhancement of one’s free mind, attitude and human values, provision of correct information, and the endless quest for truth and knowledge. With this perspective, the University is committed to provide quality education through diversified curriculum, well trained and experienced faculty members using appropriate teaching methods and processes, well-maintained and technologically equipped facilities and quality services. All of these are aimed to shape a complete, more effective, more efficient, and humane person. The regular fees are given below. Also, we are generous in providing scholarship. Almost every student is given scholarship. Special packages/financial arrangements are given to different types and groups of students. The total cost is difficult to determine because so much depends on the students. Which courses to enroll? How many units will he take? What will be the level of his performance? What is the level of commitment in getting quality education? However, at every stage, the student can easily work out a cost package primarily based on his/her academic performance and financial needs. The administration will assist in developing such individual packages. Regular Undergraduate Fees (excluding LLB (Honours))
