Tom Hill arrived Bangladesh on 24th December, 2007. We are honored getting him with on his tour to Bangladesh with a friendly intension of collaboration with University of Information Technology and Sciences (UITS).

25th December, 2007 ::: Christmas Day:::
Tom spent his Christmas in Bangladesh. He met Cathy at Sorongon.

26th December ::: Session 1
On this day, Honorable Vice Chancellor of UITS, Dr M A Aziz presided over the official meeting with Tom and the faculty members of UITS.

Tom met the faculty members and then he described the facilities of Winona State University, USA, in brief. He also get to know the infrastructure of UITS and discussed the feasibility of the technical facilities here.

27th December ::: Session 2

The day started nice. He visited few more places of Dhaka City. Our honorable faculty member Dr Monzur Alam accompanied him.

In the afternoon, Tom demonstrated the interactive tv ( i-tv ) program to the faculty members of UITS. And also setup a real time connection of audio video conference for better understanding.

28th December ::: Tour to Chittagong

Tom with our honorable VC, Dr M A Aziz, Academic Consultant Dr Mahbubul Alam Joarder and senior faculty Dr Monzur Alam left Dhaka in order to visit UITS, Chittagong campus.

29th December ::: Session 3

In this day, Tom again demonstrated the interactive tv program in brief to the faculty members of UITS Chittagong branch. He also setup a connection with the Dhaka branch and tested the white board application with the texts.

In the evening, he is willing to experience the audio conferencing from Chittagong branch to Dhaka branch.
